September 28 - October 2

This Week’s Focus

Memory - 5th and 6th Commandments with meanings

Religion - This week we cover lessons 5 - 8 over the Bible and being a Christian

Language Arts - See attached sheet

Math - We will finish up chapter 7 with lesson 5 and a review.  The test will not be until next week.

Spelling – Plurals -s, -es, -ies

Handwriting – We continue working on the different strokes needed to write in cursive.

Social Studies - We will finish up unit 1, with a test on Friday.

We are doing a great job of learning our daily schedule.  However, we are struggling with knowing when to talk and when to be quiet.  I have still been lenient with the students because I know this is a big transition back to normal school.  Please discuss with your third grader what they think they can do to help the class focus and pay attention during instruction.  Thank you for your support and help with this.
