August 30 - September 3 

This Week’s Focus

Memory - Old Testament books

Religion - This week we will cover lessons 2 through 5.

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Spelling – Short Vowels; Syllables VC/CV

Handwriting – This week we start cursive writing.

Math - We start our math lessons this week.  We will start with place value and rounding.

Social Studies - This week we continue in Unit 1 with lessons over oceans, continents, countries, states, and communities.

Next week Friday we will be doing an activity talking about Johnny Appleseed and making applesauce.  If you would be interested in coming in to lend a helping hand, please send me a message.
