October 11-14

This Week’s Focus

Memory - 7th and 8th Commandments and Meanings

Religion - We will continue our study on the Holy Spirit with lessons 18-20.

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Spelling – Syllables, V/CV, VC/V

Handwriting – This week we continue learning our cursive lowercase letters, r, s, and j.

Math - This week we will start our unit over subtraction.  Like our addition unit, we will cover many different ways to subtract.  I do not expect the students to master all the different ways, but to find a way that works best for them.

Social Studies- This week we start our second unit on finding places in the United States.

We dive into another busy week.  We are back to our usual Language Arts studies and start new math and social studies units.  Don’t forget that Sunday is the CLS Brunch.  Please come out and support this PTL fundraiser and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
