April 17 - 21

This Week’s Focus

Memory - Matthew 26:26 and What is the Sacrament of the Altar?

Religion - This week we will take the Unit 7 test on Monday and we

will start Unit 8 with lessons 85 and 86.

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Spelling – Final Syllables

Handwriting – We will continue practicing our cursive handwriting

from now until the end of the year with daily practice sheets.

Math - We continue in chapter 11 with lessons 4-6 over comparing

and ordering fractions.

Social Studies - We continue Unit 6 over making our communities

better.

Students are working on creating living statues/monuments of

people who have helped to make their communities and the world

a better place.  Students will need to bring some supplies from home

for this project.

The musical is coming up at the end of this week.  Please keep

working with your child on their speaking parts.  Emphasize saying

their parts loudly, slowly, and clearly.  Students need to wear all black

pants and tennis shoes the day of and that night.  On the night of the

musical students need to report to the classroom at 6:10.
