This Week’s Focus

Memory - Second Article of The Apostles Creed pt 2

Religion - This week we start Unit 4 with lessons 37-40

Language Arts - See the attached sheet.

Spelling – Prefixes

Handwriting – This week we finish learning about the lowercase cursive letters and start learning capital cursive letters.

Math -This week we learn multiplying by 9, practice multiplying, and how to multiply by three factors.

Social Studies - This week we start unit 3 over how geography affects communities.

This week I will be checking all assignments before they are turned in, in an effort to get students more focused and putting their best effort into their work.  Effort and focus have been an ongoing problem that is definitely affecting grades.  I have been talking with the class regularly about how they have to put in the work in order to truly learn.
