This Week’s Focus

Memory - 6th Petition of the Lord’s Prayer and meaning

Religion - We continue unit six over how we respond to God’s love with lessons 64-67.

Language Arts - See attached sheet

Spelling – Syllable Pattern CV/VC

Handwriting – This week we will continue our capital cursive letters.

Math - We will finish our study of area this week with a test on Monday.  Then we will start chapter 9 over multiplying by multiples of ten.

Science - We will complete chapter 8 with a test on Thursday.

Social Studies - We will start unit 5 on diversity in the United States on Wednesday.

We did not get to our Math and Science tests because of the snow day and early dismissal on Friday last week.  These tests will be made up on Monday.  We have our Valentine’s Party on Tuesday afternoon starting at 2:15.  The rest of the week should run as normal.

If you have not yet signed up for Parent-Teacher conferences (next week Monday and Thursday) please do so ASAP.
