This Week’s Focus

Memory - 5th Petition of the Lord’s Prayer and meaning

Religion - This week we start unit 6 over how we respond to God’s love.  We will cover lessons 61-64.

Language Arts - See attached sheet

Spelling – Syllable VCCCV

Handwriting – This week we will continue our capital cursive letters.

Math - We will finish our study of area this week with a test on Thursday.

Science - This week we will continue our study of matter with chapter 8 lesson 3.  We will complete this unit with a test on Thursday.

A few things to put on your calendar; first is the PTL meeting Thursday night at 6:30, second early dismissal Friday at 12:15, and Valentine’s Day Party next week Tuesday at 2:15.

Attached with the newsletter this week is a flyer for who is bringing what for the Valentine’s party.  Please let me know if you need a class list for Valentine’s cards; otherwise, we have 15 students in our class.
