September 10 - 14

This Week’s Focus

Memory – 1st and 2nd Commandments and meanings

Religion -  And what does it mean to be a christian?  Why
should we study the bible? What tools help us study the bible?  
How do we learn and use God’s word?

Language Arts - See handout that was sent home.

Math – Addition, subtraction, and lesson 1 - 10 review

Spelling – Base words and endings

Handwriting – Reading cursive and basic cursive strokes

Social Studies – Understanding the Geography of the World

Science – The questions and skills of scientists

My apologies for not getting grades in sooner.  It got put towards

the end of my to do list and as my to do list never seems to get done,

it got missed.  They will be put in tonight. Please check your child’s

grade book for any missing work. There are a few things that I know I

am missing.  I will get those sent out to parents as well.

This week I hope to try some new things with the students that will

help us be more successful and grow even more.  Thank you all for your

patience, prayers, and helping hands through these first few weeks as

we find what works best for our class.  It is truly a blessing to be here

with your sweet kids.
