This Week’s Focus

Memory – Mark 16:16 and What benefits does Baptism give?

Religion - Practicing for chapel this week and all school devotions

Language Arts - See attached sheet

Math – We continue learning our multiplication facts with 4, 6, 7, and 8

Spelling – Syllable Pattern - VCCCV

Handwriting – Capital upper case letters

Social Studies – We are studying how and why people immigrated to
the United States.

Science – We are taking a break from Science while we do our Social
Studies unit.

Lutheran Schools Week is always an exciting week for Lutheran schools.  
We get to celebrate and talk about the joy of being in a school where we can
talk about and integrate faith into our lesson.  There are lots of happenings
this week including bowling (you MUST wear tennis shoes in order to participate),
3rd Grade Chapel, K vs 8 basketball, chapel family activities, and dress up days.

Mrs. Pam Berger is helping me to prepare some multiplication flash cards
for each student.  The students have done very well so far but the best thing
that you can do is practice these facts with them at school.  The best way to
master these facts is by memorization and practice.
