March 25 - 29

This Week’s Focus

Memory – Titus 3:5 and How can water do such great things?

Religion - Jesus work ast priest and king, and what does it mean
to be God’s child?

Language Arts - See attached sheet

Math – We learn our last set of multiplication facts (9) and then have
a review and tests.

Spelling – Syllable Pattern - CV/VC

Handwriting – Capital upper case letters

Social Studies – We are studying how and why people immigrated to
the United States.

Science – We are taking a break from Science while we do our Social
Studies unit.

I hope that you all enjoyed your spring break!  It was a nice time for
me to get some things done in the classroom.  While I enjoyed break I am
excited to be back at school and learning new things!

A few things coming up we have Fine Arts Night on April 4th and Spring
Fling on April 6th.  I know there are a lot of people involved in both events.
I look forward to seeing you all there!

We also have spring musical coming up.  I sent home speaking parts a
couple weeks ago.  Please work with your child on their part. We are working
on them here at school but the extra practice at home is important as well.
