3rd Grade News

February 17 - 21

This Week’s Focus

Memory - 7th Petition of The Lord’s Prayer

Religion - We continue Unit 5 about God and our prayers.

Language Arts - See attached sheet

Math - We are finishing up Ch 6 on area with a test on Wednesday.  We will
then work on Ch 9 about multiplying by multiples of ten.

Spelling – Week 19: Suffixes

Handwriting – We are now working on our cursive capital letters.

Science– We continue chapter 8 over Matter this week.

This week we will finish up last week’s L.A. unit with the “Friday” LA
assessment and Spelling test over Prefixes on Tuesday.  On Wednesday we
will start our next LA unit. The “Friday” LA assessment and spelling test for
this unit will be next week on Monday.  I know this messes up our regular
schedule a bit but we will adjust next week and get back on track.
