This Week’s Focus

Memory - Conclusion of The Lord’s Prayer

Religion - We continue Unit 5 about God and our prayers.

Language Arts - See purple sheet that was sent home last week.

Math - We will continue working on Ch 9 about multiplying by multiples of ten.

Spelling – Week 19: Suffixes

Handwriting – We are now working on our cursive capital letters.

Science– We finish chapter 8 over Matter this week with a test on Thursday.

Thank you all for your cooperation and understanding the last couple of
weeks.  There has been a lot going on in my house the last couple of weeks
and your support and prayers have been such a blessing.

     We will be starting this week by spending some time reviewing our class
expectations and routines.  I am hoping that this review can take care of some
small problems we have had in the classroom lately.  Part of this review will
include cleaning out our cubbies and lockers, so please don't be surprised if
your child brings items home with them tomorrow.  Extra items in our lockers
and cubbies have become a big distraction and have caused some problems in
the classroom.

     We are continuing with our LA and spelling components from last week. 
The spelling test and LA "Friday" assessment will be on Wednesday. We won't
start the next story until next week.
