September 13 - 17

This Week’s Focus

Memory - 1st and 2nd Commandments and meanings

Religion - This week we will cover lessons 7 through 10

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Spelling – Base Words and Endings

Handwriting – This week we begin to learn how to write our lower case

letters in cursive.

Math - We finish up chapter 7 over rounding and place value with a test on Tuesday. 

We will then start Chapter 8 over Addition.

Social Studies - This week we will finish up Unit 1 with a test on Wednesday.

Science - We will start with chapter 6 over Earth and Water on Thursday.

It is hard to believe that we are almost a month into school already.  This week

we continue our regular routine.  We will also be taking our fall aReading and aMath

tests this week.  I am looking forward to another great week with my third grade herd!
