September 7 - 10

This Week’s Focus

Memory - Old Testament books: Isaiah - Malachi

Religion - This week we will cover lessons 6 & 7.

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Spelling – Plurals

Handwriting – This week we continue to work on our cursive motions.

Math - We continue in Chapter 7 about place value this week.

Social Studies - This week we will finish up Unit 1.

We had a bit of a rough time getting back into the normal school

schedule last week.  However, by Friday the class seemed to be doing

better.  I pray that this week can be a positive and productive one.  We

have several fun things planned for the week that I am looking forward

to.

Graded papers should have come home on Friday.  Students have

until this Friday to do corrections.  Please make sure to do the correction

s on the attached sheet.  This way I can see what students did wrong

initially and how they fixed their mistakes.  If you aren’t sure how your

student is supposed to go about making corrections please let me

know.
