November 12 - 16

This Week’s Focus

Memory – Hebrews 11:3 and Deuteronomy 32:6

Religion - What is the Church? Who was Martin
Luther and what did he do?

Language Arts - See separate sheet sent home.

Math – Lessons 25 through 29 over counting and subtracting money,
comparing and ordering numbers, subtracting across zero, and parts
of a whole.

Spelling – Consonant Digraphs

Handwriting – Lower case cursive letters

Social Studies – We start Unit 3 this week over Geography and the
way we live.

Science – We learn about the Weather and Climate this week.

Math Centers went well the first two days.  I do think that doing math
this way will be very helpful when we start getting into some more difficult
concepts.  We are quickly coming up to fractions which can be tricky to
understand and then multiplication will soon follow that.
