3rd Grade News: Week of April 19th

  3rd Grade News

April 19 - 23

This Week’s Focus

Memory -Acts 2:42 and Matthew 26:28

Religion - We will finish up unit 7 with a review on Friday and a test

next week.

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Math - We are finishing chapter 6 over area with a test on Tuesday. 

We will then move into chapter 9 over multiplying by multiples of ten.

Spelling – Suffixes

Handwriting – This week we will finish the months of the year, do

the days of the week, and start a new daily handwriting worksheet.

Social Studies -We continue unit 5 over cultures with a culture study

research project.

Please make sure that your child has appropriate clothes for recess

and PE outside.  It is still supposed to be on the cool outside this week.

In two weeks we will be going to the Benton FFA Ag Day.  May 5th

we will need drivers to take students to the fairgrounds in Vinton.  If

you are able to drive please let me know how many students can ride

with you in your vehicle.
