Third Grade News: Week of April 26th

3rd Grade News

April 26 - 30

This Week’s Focus

Memory - Luke 1:45 and John 20:29

Religion - We will finish up unit 7 with a test on Tuesday.  We will then start Unit 8 over God’s works in us.

Language Arts - See attached sheet.

Math - We continue in chapter 9 over multiplying by multiples of 10.

Spelling – Vowel Sounds in Moon and Foot

Handwriting – This week we continue with our daily handwriting worksheets.

Social Studies-We continue with our culture study research project.

NEXT WEEK - we are going to Benton FFA’s Ag Day.  I have one driver so far but will need enough drivers to get all 16 students to the fairgrounds in Vinton.  If you can drive please let me know ASAP how many students you can take in your vehicle.  I will send home a permission slip as soon as I know who the drivers are.
